25.03.2013 Loi fédérale concernant l’enregistrement du cancer
Le procédure de consultation sur la loi fédérale concernant l’enregistrement du cancer a été clos le 22 mars 2013. La nouvelle loi vise un enregistrement national standardisé du cancer en respectant les droits des patients et en s’inspirant de structures bien établies comme le Registre Suisse du Cancer de l'Enfant.
Le Registre Suisse du Cancer de l'Enfant (RSCE) et le Groupe d'Oncologie Pédiatrique Suisse (GOPS) approuvent le concept présenté dans la loi et le considèrent bien équilibré et élaboré. Les particularités du cancer chez les enfants et les adolescents ont été bien prises en compte dans l’avant-projet de loi présenté.

The Swiss Pediatric Oncology Group (SPOG) and the Swiss Society of Pediatric Surgery are delighted to open Applications for the JACK PLASCHKES Award 2013, in the amount of CHF 5000.-.
This prize is intended to promote Clinical and/or Basic Research in the field of Pediatric Oncological Surgery in Switzerland.
We encourage junior colleagues fulfilling the requirements to apply.
Requirements for applicants:
• Pediatric surgeons in training
• Age below 40 years (i.e. born after Jan 1st, 1973)
• Swiss candidate working in a Swiss or foreign academic institution
• Swiss candidate or foreigner working in a Swiss academic institution
• Foreigners working outside Switzerland in collaboration with a Swiss academic institution
Clinical Research or Basic science Projects which are achieved, in process or in project can be submitted.
A short summary (max. 4’000 characters) describing the Project must be sent to:

before June 30th, 2013.
The selected candidate will be awarded during the Scientific Meeting of the Swiss Pediatric Oncology Group, in January or February 2014 in Lugano.
